THE PREDICTION

The Dutch lost Deyovaiso Zeefuik to injury, Teun Koopmeiners in the senior squad, Noa Lang to injury, Ludovit Reis to club obligation and Brian Brobbey to injury. These crucial losses could hamper the Netherlands after winning their group on goal difference over one of the tournament’s other favorites, Denmark. They come up against a French team which itself has lost several players against the current team like Jules Kounde. French coach Sylvain Ripoll has come under heavy criticism as the team tend to underperform their excellent level as a player. Both teams will want a goal because of the quality of their squad, but a result is hard to call given the circumstances of the changes in the squad.
