Snyk lands in Australia, Switzerland and the Netherlands

Open source provider Adfinis brings Snyk’s platform for application security to Australia, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

The developers chose Snyk’s platform to secure the production of their native cloud applications. The platform scans for vulnerabilities using IDE and SCM integration while programming, resulting in automatic debugging and learnings can be implemented immediately.

Introducing new vulnerabilities into the code base through new dependencies and code changes may be prohibited.

Due to reports and warnings, monitoring of application security status is provided by all development teams. Governance can be managed through company-wide security and licensing policies, as well as contextual prioritization.

Snyk enables security integration. Relevant application and security information is integrated into a SaaS platform, where products meet the requirements of old and new systems, including open source, containers, and infrastructure as code.

Customers like Asurion, Google, Intuit, MongoDB, New Relic, Revolut, and Salesforce have already established their security with Snyk. Users have performed over 300 million tests in the past 12 months and fixed over 30 million security vulnerabilities in the past 90 days.

Snyk also counts the Australian Volt Bank among its clients and praises Snyk’s ability to easily fit into the developer workflow.

“As an open source service provider, we were looking for a solution that would prove itself particularly in the open technology environment and would take into account the security and compliance requirements of our customers. Snyk fits perfectly into this gap and adds an important piece of the DevSecOps puzzle to our portfolio, ”said Nicolas Christener, CEO and CTO of Adfinis.

Snyk closed a $ 530 million Series F investment at a valuation of $ 8.5 billion, bringing the total funding to $ 775 million. The funding will continue to fuel Snyk’s innovation and product development, which is expected to be revealed at the company’s free annual developer conference, SnykCon 2021, this week. During the conference, Snyk will showcase further enhancements to its developer security platform and new workflow integrations.
