Fan Update – Amsterdam Public Transport

FOLLOWING tonight’s UEFA security meeting, it has unfortunately been confirmed that there are currently no public transport options for fans to travel to Amsterdam after the Champions League play-off tomorrow night.

The Eindhoven authorities initially believed they would be able to secure a direct football train to transport supporters, but this option has now been formally denied.

The Lord Mayor of Eindhoven and other local authorities are meeting this evening to discuss options for ensuring the safe travel of hundreds of supporters who are expected to rely on public transport to Amsterdam.

Fan safety is a matter of the utmost importance and Rangers will do everything in their power to ensure the safe transport of our supporters. We encourage all supporters who are able to make alternative arrangements to do so.

We will provide a further update after tomorrow’s UEFA operational meeting.
