Afghanistan to welcome Netherlands to Qatar in January

Afghanistan will host their three-game ODI series against the Netherlands in Doha, Qatar in January next year, the country’s cricket council (ACB) said on Wednesday.

“The three-match ODI series will begin on January 21, with the second and third matches scheduled for January 23 and 25, respectively. All three matches will take place at the Asian Cricket Stadium in Doha City, Qatar,” ‘ACB in a press release. A declaration.

The series against the Netherlands will be the second assignment followed by the third in Zimbabwe between January and February.

Afghanistan are set to host Australia and Pakistan and then travel to India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in their three away rounds of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League through 2023.

The ICC Cricket World Cup Super League is a 13-team tournament that will run over two years and determine which teams qualify for CWC 2023.

India, which is the host of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, and the other top seven teams in the super league, will automatically qualify for the World Cup.
